Poet, artist, and publisher. Born in 1958 in Dzerzhinsk, Minsk Region. Graduated from the pedagogical department of the Glebov Minsk Art College and the art department of the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute. One of the founders and participants of the uncensored association of young writers Tuteyshiya (The Locals, 1986–1990). Author of more than twenty books of prose and poetry in Belarusian. Adam Globus's haiku were first published in 1983 in the journal Byarozka and have since appeared in various countries and languages, including journals and anthologies in Japan. Russian-speaking readers are familiar with Adam Globus's collection Lyrics BY in translations by Alexander Yeremenko, Alexei Parshchikov, Vyacheslav Kupriyanov, and others. In 2022, his haiku collection Snyazhynka (Snowflake) was published in Belarusian (Minsk: Vydavets Zmitse Kolas).
