Poet, literary critic, and doctoral professor of Spanish American literature at the Autonomous University of Puebla State (BUAP). Born in 1982 in Mexico City. Since 2013, he has been a member of the National System of Researchers. He is the recipient of the Benemérito de América Latin American Poetry Prize and the Ramón López Velarde National Poetry Prize. He received the Carlos Pellicer Ibero-American Poetry Prize in the "2024 Publication" category for his collection El sin ventura Juan de Yuste (Círculo de Poesía, 2024). Founder and editor of the magazine Círculo de Poesía, for which he received the Poetry East-West Award in 2014. Author of Imago prima (2005), Ser en el mundo (2011), Las correspondencias (Visor, Spain, 2015; translated into English and Italian), El sin ventura Juan de Yuste (Plural Editores, Bolivia, 2023; Círculo de Poesía, Mexico, 2024; Cascahuesos Editores, Peru, 2026), and Poeta en patria criolla.
