Poet, translator. Born in 1968 in Kharkiv. From 1985, he lived in Moscow, studied at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after Lenin. Since 1991, he has lived in Copenhagen. His poems were first published in the journal Solo in 1997. In 1998, he received a special prize from Mikhail Aizenberg at the online literary competition Teneta, and a year later released his debut book Collective Images based on the competition selection. In 2005, he was shortlisted for the Andrei Bely Prize. He has published in the almanac Vavilon, the journals Vozdukh, Poetica, on the portal Polutona, in the collective edition All at Once (together with L. Shvab and F. Svarovsky, 2008), and elsewhere. Author of nine poetry books, including Pearl Fishers (2013), Unforgettable (2017), Valencia's Goats (2019), 27 Fictional Poets Translated by the Author (2021), and Seva Is Not a Zombie (2022).
