Poet, prose writer, critic, literary scholar. Born in 1977 in Moscow. Graduated from the Gorky Literary Institute. Defended his PhD dissertation on "Russian Naive and Primitive Poetry: Genesis, Evolution, Poetics." Laureate of the Independent Youth Literary Award "Debut" (2000), the "Moscow Observer" Award (2015), and the Andrei Bely Prize in Poetry (2023) for his book The Unreliable Storyteller. Recipient of the International Mark of David Burliuk, the father of Russian Futurism (2009). Co-editor of the almanacs The Sixth Column (1998), The Outskirts (1996–1999), and the young literature journal Vavilon (1999–2003). Author of ten poetry collections. His poetry and prose have been translated into Albanian, English, Belarusian, Italian, German, Slovenian, Ukrainian, French, and Czech. Lives in Moscow.
