Kuzmin

Poet, editor, curator of literary projects, and literary scholar. Born in 1968. Graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Moscow State Pedagogical University; PhD in Philology (dissertation: “The History of the Russian Monostich”). Known primarily for his work in literary organization: editor-in-chief of the publishing house ARGO-RISK (since 1993) and of the journal Vozdukh (“Air”, since 2006), coordinator of the online project Babylon, curator of literary clubs and festivals, and compiler of several anthologies. Author of the book Russian Monostich: An Outline of History and Theory (2016), and co-author of the textbook Poetry (2016). Recipient of the Andrei Bely Prize (2002), the “Poetry” Prize (2019) for a critical essay on poetry and other prizes. He has published poetry, translations of poetry and prose, and articles on contemporary Russian poetry, as well as on the history and theory of verse. Lives in Latvia.
