Writer, translator from English and Swedish, graphic artist, and book illustrator. Associate Professor in the Department of Foreign Literature at Belarusian State University. Born in 1971 in Minsk. She teaches the history of English literature, the history of English culture, and the theory and practice of literary translation in the Romance and Germanic Studies Division. Author of the books Virginia Woolf’s Polyphonic Prose (2003), Jeanette Winterson, or The Revival of the Art of Lying (2006), The Image of the Music Hall in the Neo-Victorian Novel (2015), and Sara Danius: Fashion in Literature and Literature in Fashion (2021).
