A translator into Russian, physicist, and programmer. Lives in the United States. Works with translations from English, Scots, and French. Born in 1960 in Moscow. Graduated from the Faculty of Molecular and Biological Physics at MIPT. Known for his translations of Robert Burns, Rudyard Kipling, Stéphane Mallarmé, Oscar Wilde, Sara Teasdale, Leconte de Lisle, Maurice Rollinat, Howard Phillips Lovecraft, and others. He translated David Herbert Lawrence’s Birds, Beasts and Flowers, currently in preparation for publication. In 2021, a volume of Allen Ginsberg’s poems, Howl. Kaddish, was published in Dmitry Manin’s translations.
